Quality Control
At EVERWORTHS, Quality Control (QC) is not a final checkpoint—it is an integrated system woven into every step of production. From incoming raw materials to finished goods, our rigorous QC protocols ensure that every seamless garment meets your exact specifications for fit, function, and finish. With a dedicated team, advanced testing equipment, and a zero-defect mindset, we deliver products you can trust—order after order.
1. Incoming Material QC
● Yarns: Count, twist, tensile strength, color consistency, moisture content
● Fabrics: Weight, width, shrinkage, color fastness, pilling resistance
● Components: Zippers, elastics, labels: function, durability, appearance
● Packaging: Print quality, material strength, size accuracy
Equipment: Universal tester, spectrophotometer, moisture meter, tensile tester
2. In-Process QC (Knitting)
● Machine setup: Verify program, yarn type, gauge, and tension
● First-piece approval: Inspect against approved sample: dimensions, stitch, pattern
● In-process monitoring: Every 100 pieces: check for defects, dimensional stability
● Batch completion: Final inspection before transfer to next stage
Defects Monitored: Needle lines, holes, uneven tension, pattern misalignment, dropped stitches
3. In-Process QC (Dyeing & Finishing)
● Batch preparation: Verify weight, style, and shade grouping
● Dyeing monitoring: Temperature, pressure, time; recipe adherence
● Color verification: Spectrophotometer check against approved lab dip
● Finishing validation: Functional properties (wicking, antimicrobial, etc.) tested
● Setting confirmation: Dimensional stability, width, hand feel
Defects Monitored: Shade variation, uneven dyeing, poor fastness, incorrect finish application
4. In-Process QC (Cutting & Sewing)
● Cutting: Verify pattern alignment, fabric defects, accuracy
● Sewing station setup: Thread color, stitch type, tension, needle condition
● In-process sewing: Every 50 pieces: seam strength, stitch density, alignment
● Component attachment: Verify placement and function of elastics, zippers, labels
Defects Monitored: Misaligned seams, skipped stitches, poor tension, incorrect hardware placement
5. Final QC (100% Inspection)
● Visual: Stains, pulls, loose threads, print quality, label placement
● Dimensional: Length, width, waistband, hem—verified against tech pack
● Construction: Seam integrity, stitch uniformity, reinforcement
● Function: Stretch recovery, zipper operation, elastic tension
● Hardware: Secure attachment, no sharp edges, proper function
● Print/Embroidery: Placement, clarity, color, durability
Equipment: Light boxes, measurement tables, stretch testers, tension gauges
6. Needle Detection
● Equipment: Industrial conveyorized metal detectors
● Sensitivity: Ferrous: 0.8mm; Non-ferrous: 1.2mm; Stainless: 1.5mm
● Coverage: 100% of finished garments
● Protocol: Automatic ejection or alarm; quarantine and re-inspection
7. AQL Sampling & Audit
● Standard: ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (MIL-STD-105E) or customer-specified
● Inspection Level: General Level II (customizable)
● Acceptable Quality Limit: AQL 1.0 / 2.5 / 4.0 depending on defect severity
● Documentation: Detailed inspection reports with photos
